Tobias Hunter

Hi, I’m Tobias. I’m a new graduate Mixed Vet in Aberdeenshire and have been a member of BVLGBT+ since the start of vet school.

I’m trans and non-binary and I’ve met a few obstacles on my journey through veterinary so I’m keen to work to remove those obstacles for future generations and to make the veterinary profession as inclusive and supportive as possible.

I'm also a Co-Director and Co-Founder of Affinity Futures, which is an EDI consultancy company running training for veterinary professionals on challenging discrimination and being allies. We've delivered workshops and talks to most major veterinary conferences and organisations in the UK to help improve inclusivity in the profession.
